Lou is an experienced music supervisor for film and television. With almost 20 years in the industry Lou has developed expertise in music copyright and music licensing and created a vast and diverse music network. Lou has had the opportunity to work on many award-winning Australian productions including an epic 8 seasons of Wentworth for Fremantle Media/Foxtel, Five Bedrooms (Hoodlum/Network 10), Seven Types of Ambiguity and Mustangs FC (ABC/Matchbox), Above Water (Amazon/McAvoy Media) and Making Their Mark (Amazon/Goal Pictures) and most recently the utterly delightful Dog Park (ABC/Matchbox).
Lou started out as Music Researcher for London based Music Licensing Company Ricall back in 2004 successfully pitching music for advertising campaigns for global brands, after moving to Melbourne in 2008 she then joined Australian music licensing company Music Mill as Music Licensing Manager. In 2015 Lou started her own Music Supervision company Rising Sounds and has focused on TV projects since then.
Lou also co-owns and runs Thornbury Picture House and Brunswick Picture House, independent single screen cinemas in Melbourne.
